Local artist Keith Busher began preciousmutations.com in 2012 as an example to his children on what can be accomplished when you're not sitting in front of the television watching reruns over and over again. He began to scour thrift shops, garage sales and flea markets for figurines and other collectables and started on his mutating career. Using self hardening apoxies, clay, and acrylic paint, Keith accentuates the quirks and flaws in each piece and breathes new life into these otherwise unwanted knick knacks. His collection of holiday inspired Zombie Nutcrackers have been sent to the 4 corners of the globe including the UK, Japan and Australia. | |||||

.... David Irvine is a fine artist, illustrator, crafter and muralist. Always continuing to explore different themes and mediums, his range of work is quite broad. His love of the dark and macabre or humorous spins on pop culture are always prevalent in some form, no matter if he's painting on an unwanted piece of thrift store art, a vinyl record or canvas painting. | |||||
